DEMERITS OF WORKING AS A STUDENT

Less or no time for socialization: It is very expedient that every student socializes, we should engage ourselves in groups or forums that make us happy and help us explore some of our abilities outside school and work. These social moments can help to relieve stress. Working as a student tends to take socialization away from you and make little time available to spend with your family and friends, due to the time you have to spend working and making up for the time you missed in school. Your ability to fully engage yourself in the college experience could be limited.

Accumulated Stress: As a student managing class attendance, Homework and projects can be stressful on their own. When you try to manage this with a job, it can be very stressful, sometimes these can lead to poor grades. It gets harder during exam periods; I recommend that you stop your work for the moment till after your exams to maximize concentration.
